Synopsis: Adelaide is a trained relationship counselor with a book to her credit and numerous successes through her private business. After a series of friends and family, including her younger Australian sister GRACE, breaking up with their long term partners, the sisters come up with a plan to help.
They create 'Pity Parties' to help people through the newly broken up period. They go to people's houses and supply alcohol, counseling sessions, chocolate, ice cream, games and make overs.
One night they get called out to do a party and are shocked to see it is a guy, Ian who has just lost his pretty girlfriend, Sandra. Ian runs a furniture store. That night neighbors call upset saying that Grace's apartment is leaking water all over their bathroom.
They leave the party early, before being able to do the make overs but promise the guys they will be back another time. A good looking guy, Gavin comes with Grace as he is a plumber. He starts to hang out over the next few weeks and Grace thinks seeing he is so good looking, they could only really be good mates.
Over the next few months her vanity in her bathroom rots away from the flooding and she finds herself getting a new one from Ian. Ian asks after the next book Adelaide is writing and reminds Grace she owes him a makeover and Adelaide owes him a session.
After another dodgy leak and a party that turns in to a cat fight, Grace and Gavin get together around Valentine's Day to find out that Ian and Adelaide have been secretly dating on the sly!
